- The starting times for all split contests (A-L) will be 8 a.m., followed by schools (M-Z) later.
- The Forestry contest will be taking only 20 4-person teams.
- We will be using the National FFA scantron sheets in the following State CDEs and qualifying contests where applicable: Agronomy, Dairy , Horse , Livestock, Meats and Poultry . Please refer to the National CDE web site at http://www.ffa.org/programs/cde/html/cde_forms.htm to view these answer sheets with your students before they attend a contest. We will also be using your official FFA Chapter ID# on these forms, so be sure your chapter members know what that number is!
As a result of the use of scantron sheets this year, contest entry fees have increased increased slightly. Please review the new costs listed below:
Agronomy |
$20 |
Dairy |
$20 |
Horse |
$30 |
Livestock |
$20 |
Meats |
$30 |
Poultry |

- This year's Horse CDE will be at a new location -- Bristol Horse Estates near Sun Prairie. Directions are on the State CDE website. We also have two new superintendents for the Horse Contest. There will also be a new required “hold harmless” waiver form that each team member will need to bring with them to the CDE in order to judge.
- Cell phone use is absolutely prohibited during any CDE . If a student has a cell phone in their hand during any CDE, they will be disqualified. Cell phones must be turned off and remain in a pocket during the CDE.
- Our entry deadline postmark for Qualifying CDEs is Saturday April 9, since April 10 is a Sunday. The Non-Qualifying CDE deadline is still April 1.
- Please note that all FFA members will be required to know their Chapter FFA membership number the day of the contest.
