WISELI offers a series of three climate workshops for Department Chairs seeking to improve climate in their departments. The workshops provide Department Chairs the opportunity to enhance and improve their department's climate by collaborating with other individuals and learning from their experiences and ideas. Search Committee Workshop:

WISELI offers a two session workshop to better inform search committee members on how to run effective and efficient search committees. Participants share effective strategies for actively recruiting excellent and diverse applicants and for increasing the awareness of unconscious bias and assumptions that influence the evaluation of candidates. My Professional Development:

My Professional Development is administered by the Office of Human Resources Development. It is a free, campus-wide, collaborative Web-based initiative designed to share all professional development opportunities on campus with faculty, staff, and students. Management: Personal Administration:

Management: Personal Administration is a three-day training program for supervisors and managers, consisting of topics in human resources and personnel management. Topics include: Position Descriptions,Staffing Overview, AA/EEO, Performance Evaluation, EAP overview, and Labor Relations. All State of Wisconsin supervisors and managers, as well as non-represented confidential staff with human resources responsibilities, are welcome to attend.
