We are soliciting studies to address gaps in methodological research relevant to conducting
PCOR. Results of these studies will inform future iterations of the Methodology Committee report and its
standards. The improvement of existing methods will benefit all stakeholders, including researchers
planning investigations, policy makers weighing the value of healthcare interventions; and patients,clinicians, and caregivers facing healthcare decisions.
We expect to fund approximately 14 projects totaling up to $12 million in total costs under this PFA. Because the nature and scope of the proposed research is expected to vary widely from application to application, it is anticipated that the size and duration of each award will also vary.
