The UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR)is now accepting applications for Pre-doctoral Training (TL1)positions to begin September 2013.
TL1 funding includes a full pre-doctoral NIH stipend, tuition, fees, and travel
allowance. Key components of the TL1 fellowship are graduate education in
clinical investigation, biannual meetings with the trainee's research mentor
and TL1 program director to discuss career development and research progress,
monthly career development seminars with ICTR KL2 Scholars, monthly writing
workshops, and joining a community of clinical and translational
investigators.
Trainees in the ICTR TL1 program are required to either pursue
a PhD or PhD minor in Clinical Investigation. TL1 awards are intended to
support the initial 1-2 years of PhD studies for full-time students.
