This opportunity will specifically support the development of cultivars and other plant germplasm that are or will be assigned to WARF. Approximately $100,000 per year will be available for development of cultivars or other germplasm that are or will be assigned to WARF. A committee with repesentation from WARF, Wisconsin Crop Improvement Association, CALS, and CALS Departments of Agronomy, Horticulture, and Plant Pathology will evaluate the proposals for germplasm to be developed, the development tasks, and the amount of payment. Development tasks may be carried out by WCIA as appropriate.
