The prestigious Pezcoller Foundation AACR International Award for Cancer Research was established in 1997 to recognize a major scientific discovery in basic or translational cancer research. It is given annually to a scientist who has made significant contributions to our understanding of cancer and whose ongoing work holds promise for future outstanding contributions to the field.
