The Wisconsin Fertilizer Research Program maintains a fund that disburses awards for research conducted through the UW System in the realm of soil management, soil fertility, plant nutrition, and ground/surface water
problems that may be related to fertilizer usage. Funds may also be used for disseminating research results, and for other designated activities that promote efficient and proper use of fertilizer materials. The Fertilizer Research Fund is supported by a tonnage fee generated through sales of fertilizers in the state of WI.
UW-Madison Applicants: Submit proposal to the CALS Research Division by 9/06/2012.
Non UW-Madison Applicants: After your proposal has met the requirements of your school or college, submit to the Fertilizer Research Program coordinator by 9/13/2012.
