The Pew Latin American Fellows Program in the Biomedical Sciences is designed to support young scientists from Latin America for post-doctoral training in the United States. The Program is intended to provide such individuals with an opportunity to further their scientific knowledge, promote scientific exchange and collaboration between investigators in the U.S. and Latin America, and advance basic scientific research in Latin America. The funding of the awards is provided by The Pew Charitable Trusts.
