The Littlefield-AACR Grants for Metastatic Colon Cancer Research support innovative cancer research projects designed to improve the survival and quality of life of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. Such projects must lead to individualized therapeutic options for treatment or development of promising new cancer therapeutics for metastatic colon cancer which will translate into clinical applications within a one- to two-year period. Due to the intent to support projects on an accelerated track into the clinic, special emphasis will be placed on those where Phase I clinical trials have been successfully conducted. These grants will be provided in an amount between $500,000 - $1,000,000.
