These two-year grants of up to $150,000 are open to independent investigators. The grants provide support for innovative cancer research projects designed to accelerate the discovery, development, and application of new agents to treat breast cancer and/or for pre-clinical research with direct therapeutic intent. Funds will support direct research expenses; which may include the salary and benefits of the grant recipient, any Collaborators, postdoctoral or clinical research fellows and/or research assistants; equipment and supplies. Interested applicants can submit a 2-page Letter of Intent by June 13, 2011, at noon ET.
