This Request for Proposals (RFP), issued jointly by the Golden Retriever Foundation and the AKC Canine Health Foundation, invites grant applications for investigator-initiated Research Projects in the area of canine Hemangiosarcoma or Lymphoma research. Both parent organizations are collaborating in this funding effort in order to increase the likelihood that we will achieve two critical goals: 1) Identification of genomic, epigenomic, proteomic or transcriptomic markers of disease that will aid in the early identification and/or prevention of canine cancer, and 2) Identification or development of therapeutics that will significantly enhance survival and quality of life for dogs with cancer.
