Office of Admissions and Recruitment Tours – Informative sessions that offer an overview of the University and insight into the admissions process. Register via Visit Bucky.

CALS Informational Session – This hour informational session explores CALS 24 majors and highlights the various services and learning opportunities available for CALS students. This is great opportunity to learn more about the college and our academic programs. Registration is available via Visit Bucky.

CALS Ambassador Tours – Learn about CALS from our current students. You’ll receive a short overview of the college’s services and learning opportunities before you’ll head out for a 35 minute tour of what we call the “CALS campus”. Registration is available via Visit Bucky.

CALS Visit Days – This unique program provides you a closer look at the college’s undergraduate 4-year programs. During your visit you will hear from admissions, financial aid, and the CALS’ Transitional Advising and Outreach Services. You will pre-select two majors of interest and meet in a small group setting with a major advisor. The CALS student ambassadors will offer their personal insights during a CALS campus tour. FISC Preview Day – Prospective students are encouraged to visit campus by attending one of our Preview Days, especially during the academic year (November – March). Preview Days help prospective students get acquainted the program, campus, and staff. Students will tour the CALS agriculture campus, see the Short Course dorms, visit classes, and talk with current Farm and Industry Short Course students. Event registration is available via FISC.

Student Shadow Day – This event is more than just a visit day. It allows student to get right into the university environment in order to learn the essence of what it means to be a Badger. Through one on one time with our Ambassadors, students will have the chance to attend classes, experience life on campus and gain insight from current students.

Exploring CALS – Admitted Student Visit Day – This invitation only event is extended to students who have been admitted to UW-Madison and are interested in exploring a CALS major. Students will visit with our 24 majors, learn more about on-campus housing and interact with our CALS Ambassadors during tours and panels. Invitations to this event are sent to admitted student’ email in early Spring.
