Change CALSNet/Novell Password Instructions for Macintosh Users

When the System Administrator originally creates your account on the CALSNet a password is automatically assigned. This is just a temporary password and should be changed as soon as possible.

Mac OSX

1. In the Finder Window, Select Go | Connect To Server. Type in agnet.cals.wisc.edu or 144.92.9.42.

2. Click the Connect button or and type in your Novell username.

3. Click the Options button or shortcut icon, then Change Password.

4. Type in your old password, then type in a new password, then retype the new password following our Novell password guidelines of:

• Length needs to be at least 5 characters
• Should not be your first or last name
• Should not be your temporary password
• Should not be easily guessed

5. Click the OK button when finished. You will then be redirected to the logon screen
