 General Comments: large tubers tend to be rough

Tuber Appearance, 2005:
Skin Color and Texture:  dark brown color with moderate to heavy russet; color can be slightly variable; russet can be slightly to moderately variable
Shape: oblong/long to long in length; oblong in cross section; tapered/blocky ends; shape can be slightly variable
Tuber Texture: eyes are shallow; bud and stem ends are smooth; overall tuber texture is smooth to slightly rough
External Tuber Defects, 2005:
Antigo: minor misshaped tubers
Hancock: none noteworthy
Spooner: moderate surface scab
Internal Defects, 2005:
Antigo: 15% brown center; 20% internal brown spot; 15% vascular discoloration; 10% stem end discoloration

Spooner: 10% vascular discoloration
