 General Comments: stem ends tend to have heavier russet

Tuber Appearance, 2005:
Skin Color and Texture:  light to medium brown color with light to moderate russet; color and russet can be slightly to moderately variable
Shape: oblong/long in length; oblong in cross section; tapered/blocky ends; shape can be slightly to moderately variable
Tuber Texture: eyes are shallow; bud and stem ends are shallow; overall tuber texture is smooth to slightly rough
External Tuber Defects, 2005:
Antigo: severe surface scab; severe growth cracks
Hancock: severe surface scab
Spooner: severe surface scab; minor growth cracks
Internal Defects:
Antigo: 10% brown center; 20% hollow heart; 30% stem end discoloration
Hancock: 17% hollow heart
Spooner: 15% hollow heart
