Mr. Berger is the Sheep Researcher at the Spooner Ag Research Station. He was raised in South East France, near the city of Lyons. His family farm focused on the raising of grapes for the wine industry. He received a B.S. degree from ITPA in Paris and a M.S. from the University of Minnesota. His major was animal science and genetics. He has served as a sheep researcher in Argentina, the Ivory Coast, Keyna, Morocco, and most recently, the UW Spooner Ag Research Station. He is a specialist in sheep genetics and management of the sheep herd for milk.
