The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) computer lab is located in the basement and on the ground floor of the Animal Sciences building — in rooms 145, 149, 150 and 204. The lab is open and free of charge (except for laser printing) to all University students, faculty and staff.
The facility is comprised of the CALS Statistical Consulting Service which aids researchers with their statistical needs, and a windows/macintosh microcomputer lab that also includes 2 computer classrooms that can be reserved for trainings or classroom use.
The CALS Computer Facility is managed by Peter Crump (263-2816) and Tom Tabone (263-3942). An operator/consultant is also on duty at all times to help assist users (263-2817). Statistical assistance is by appointment (click on stat consulting tab above).
What's New
The desktop computers in the upstairs classroom (room 204) are new Dell Vostro 330 All-in-One desktops; less cables and beautiful 23" WLED Full HD displays.
Room 149 has been remodeled! It now consists of a lounge area and a small group study area.
More laptops! When the MacBook Pros are gone, you can still check out a very nice dual-boot white macbook. We also have a few Dell Inspiron 700m PCs that we can still check out to the diehard PCers out there!
