If you don’t have an internship yet, you are probably freaking out. Don’t worry though as there are still several internships out there for you. There are over 250 internships in BuckyNet right now. Even though there are several internships, that does not mean you have time to waste. You need to be serious today if you are going to get an internship.
The first order of business should be finding internships. Once you have found some internships you are interested in, find the deadlines of the application. Then put your internships in order of deadlines. Make sure you apply to these internships in this order.
Next, you should check to see if any of your internships require anything above and beyond a resume and a cover letter. Things such as a sample of your work or a written letter of recommendation. If these things are required make sure you get those things taken care of right away so you have them handy when you actually decide to apply for the position.
Now you need to check out your resume. How does it look? Do you need to add anything? Now is the time to make corrections or additions to your resume as it will be handed to every company you are applying to.
You should begin applying to each position you are interested in as soon as your resume is ready. Starting with the first application you should get all of the information needed to apply. If this includes a cover letter, you should also write that during this step as well. 
Make sure to have someone read through these documents to see if you missed anything. After you have all of the necessary documents for the application, then you can send it out.
If you use these steps you can be successful in getting an interview with an employer. The more interviews you get the better chance you have of getting hired. Get out there and start applying, you never know what will happen.
