Continuing Order Requisitions (CORs) for renewing blanket orders expiring 6/30/2008 have been populated in the external requisition generator and can now be processed. Accounting Services and RSP have jointly planned additional WISDM classes. These classes are now available for registration on the following OHRD websites. We have also developed a beginner WISDM class for new UW employees or for employees who are new in the fiscal and business area. The fiscal year end dates and deadlines have been posted at www.bussvc.wisc.edu/acct/dddates.html. Please review the information carefully, because a number of dates and processes have changed with the Program Release implementation (for example, the date to enter new FY09 requisitions was moved from May 1 to May 12 to allow accurate funding edits and a new summer session transaction process). Office of Human Resources will conduct the training and be available

On 7 November 2007 U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released a new form I-9 for Employment Eligibility Verification. The form itself is the same as the old form, but they have modified the list of acceptable documents by deleting those which are no longer acceptable. Employers may only accept those documents which are listed on the 2007 version of the form I-9. (more…)
