Accounting Services and RSP have jointly planned additional WISDM classes. These classes are now available for registration on the following OHRD websites. The fiscal year end dates and deadlines have been posted at www.bussvc.wisc.edu/acct/dddates.html. Please review the information carefully, because a number of dates and processes have changed with the Program Release implementation (for example, the date to enter new FY09 requisitions was moved from May 1 to May 12 to allow accurate funding edits and a new summer session transaction process). A training/informational meeting has been set up on Tuesday, March
25, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. to explain the policy changes and the leave
entry procedures related to Unclassified Leave Reporting. We will
meet in 115 Taylor Hall, 427 Lorch Street, the Parsons-Penn
Room. Peggy Marvin, Catharine DeRubeis and Gareth Green from the
Office of Human Resources will conduct the training and be available

On 7 November 2007 U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released a new form I-9 for Employment Eligibility Verification. The form itself is the same as the old form, but they have modified the list of acceptable documents by deleting those which are no longer acceptable. Employers may only accept those documents which are listed on the 2007 version of the form I-9. (more…)
