The Committee on Honorary Degrees is eager to receive your nominations of worthy candidates for honorary degrees. The committee especially solicits your nominations of meritorious women and minority candidates. The Alfred Toepfer Faculty Fellow Award is established to recognize and reward promising young faculty in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and encourage their development into outstanding scientists. The award will provide an annual stipend (~$20,000) for the recipient’s research program, which cannot be used for summer salary or salary supplement. (more…)
The College will have several Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellowships to award on a College-wide basis for the 2008-09 academic year. We are pleased to issue this call for nominations.
The Keylon Braxton Memorial Award is given to one senior within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences or a member of a CALS-related organization.
Nominations for two Dean of Students Outstanding Undergraduate Returning Adult Student Awards are being accepted until February 14, 2008. The awards recognize returning adult undergraduates whose exceptional determination and perseverance have enabled them to pursue their academic work and to contribute to the community by demonstrated leadership and service.
