International coffee in Ag Hall on April 29

Next Tuesday, April 29, 8:00 - 9:30 in 240 Ag Hall, we will have the first International Coffee for international visiting scholars, post docs, and grad students and their UW faculty mentors/hosts. The idea for this came from a focus group that the International Committee convened last year. Apply by April 18 for grants for research on globalization and the international economy

The UW-Madison Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy (WAGE) has announced an individual grant competition to support research projects on globalization and the international economy. All UW-Madison faculty and qualified members of the academic staff are encouraged to apply. WAGE anticipates awarding 2–4 grants of up to $10,000, which will be available for use from June 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. Applications should be submitted no later than noon on Friday, April 18.
