Our Mission
The Office of Graduate Studies and Professional Development was created to assist prospective graduate students in locating and investigating graduate programs suited to their interests, and to help current graduate students get the most out of graduate studies by highlighting opportunities to expand and enhance the training they already receive in their individual graduate programs. The Director and the Advisory Group work to guide graduate programs and graduate students toward a secure and bright future. Our efforts include securing institutional support for graduate education, addressing issues of professional development not currently addressed by individual programs, and implementing strategies to recruit and retain students of under-represented groups.
