The Department of Horticulture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison serves the citizens of Wisconsin, as well as others throughout the United States and the global community through programs in instruction, Extension, and continuing education, research and international agriculture. Research programs are focused on the fundamental studies of plant biology, production, and utilization of horticultural crops.
