Charles F. Leins, Pioneer Educator and Community Leader
A pioneer educator and leader in rural development; was one of the first in the state to advocate the teaching of agriculture in rural schools. As superintendent of schools, as county surveyor of Washington County and as a positive citizen he has worked zealously for the advancement of agricultural practices and institutions of his community and county.
