A proud alumnus of the University; a skilled agriculutral economist who guided the growth and development of a major loan program for farmers, as well as a small-business program that created thousands of jobs; a visionary leader who, as chairman and co-founder of Heartland Business Bank, has made tremendous contributions to rural economic development in Wisconsin; a compassionate financial advisor whose sound guidance helps guarantee the future of many Wisconsin businesses; a trusted counselor to the University and a generous friend who pledges his support to agribusiness students; and a respected leader, both nationally and in his own community, who is a great asset to the State.
