Bernard Wentworth
Bernard has served the CALS and UW-Community for over 35 years as an instructor and administrator. Bernard has had many professional achievements including demonstration of an artificial insemination method for turkeys which is how all commercial turkeys are inseminated today, isolation of the turkey pituitary lutenizing hormone and growth hormone, and production of an immortal turkey germ cell line. Through his teaching and advising, Bernard has helped train the next generation of poultry and animal scientists, leaving a lasting impression on the industry and the University.
