A respected economist and educator, skilled at explaining complex agricultural issues to students, farmers, and the general public; a prolific researcher who has applied his analytical talents in a continuous effort to improve the competitiveness and profitability of Wisconsin’s milk producers, cranberry growers and others in the state’s farm sector; an energetic Extension specialist who has devised many innovative programs to inform producers, food processors and policymakers about new policies and programs and the financial status of Wisconsin farm families.
