Photography
The photography unit's primary responsibility is to support the College Communication Program (press service, Science Report, Quarterly) with quality still photography. Time permitting, the photographer is available for special departmental, center or individual faculty projects.

Photographic services. The unit has capability to shoot and develop black and white, and color transparency 35 mm photographs. It also has capability to convert images to digital formats and store them electronically for later editing and use. Because this unit has an earnings requirement, it must charge for services, including location shooting, developing and use of image files (ask for current price lists). For the most part, charges are waived for CALS administration and for news media.

Black-and-white portrait Service. Black-and-white portrait services are available in Room B16 Agricultural Journalism on Mondays from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Please contact Nancy Coates (262-8826) or Libuss Zaporzec (262-8068) for appointments. Other times can be scheduled on request. The primary purpose of the portrait service is to provide recent photographs of faculty for the College's biographical files. Faculty and staff from outside the College will be charged an $18 sitting fee on Mondays, or $36 on other days, in addition to the following rates:

4X5 prints,$3 each; 5X7 prints, $5 each; 8X10 prints, $9 each

Color photography. Color photography must be arranged with Wolfgang Hoffmann (262-0274.
