Science Reporting
As a land grant institution, the College has a special obligation to report research findings to various interested publics and user groups. The science reporting service helps scientists popularize and illustrate science findings for non-scientists. Popularized stories are sent to Wisconsin and national newspaper science writers and editors, magazines and trade press, and are used in the College's Science Reports, Quarterly, Impact Statements, and various other media and group presentations. All reports of original CALS research, including those projects conducted by faculty and staff with Cooperative Extension appointments, are handled through the College Communication Program.
