The National Potato Council awards two $2,000 scholarships to graduate students pursuing advanced studies which enhance the potato industry. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership abilities and potato-related areas of graduate study. Scholarships will be awarded in 2007 to be applied toward the 2007-2008 academic year.
Final scholarship selection is based on the following criteria: Past academic achievement, leadership abilities, and potato-related areas of graduate study (i.e. Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Crop and Soil Sciences, Entomology, Food Sciences, Horticulture, or Plant Pathology).
