This award is designed to support the training of talented students entering careers in physiology by providing predoctoral fellowships for underrepresented students (African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Native Alaskans, and Native Pacific Islanders). The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. or its territories. The applicant must have been accepted into or currently enrolled in a graduate program in physiology at the time of the application.
