Committees Header
Serving as a student representative on a CALS committee is a great way to make a difference on campus. By channeling student concerns to the proper faculty committees, you are ensuring that students do have a voice setting the policies and plans for this college's future. Student committee representatives are asked to give a report to the Student Council meetings at the councils monthly meeting. As many of the committees do not meet regularly or often, student representatives are only asked to report when they have new information. The representatives give a brief description of what their committee does and what their committee has been doing, and they also highlight any issues on which the Student Council might appropriately register an opinion on behalf of the students in the College.

The Student Council appoints students to these committees each spring for the next year. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact the CALS Student Council Liaison Officer: mwschoen@wisc.edu.
