Each fall and spring, the College hosts career fairs with more than 40 agricultural and life science related companies. These fairs provide an opportunity for your organization to excite students about your company and to efficiently recruit interns and employees.
Spread the word about the great things your organization does and has to offer. Many companies hold these information sessions the night prior to a career fair or on-campus interviews. We can help you arrange food and beverages if you wish.
Our career services office uses the web-based recruiting service eRecruiting. Post job and internship openings, and review students' resumes on this easy to use website. Contact Career Services at 608-262-3460 to sign up for a free username and password.
A new UW System service that connects Wisconsin-based businesses with students at UW schools around the state. Register or login, then begin posting internship, co-op and full-time professional opportunities. A handbook is available (PDF format) with more information for employers.
Department faculty and advisors have the most direct connections to students in the College. They are aware of the types of experiences students are seeking and might know someone qualified for the position you are trying to fill. We can help you get connected in our departments.
Each College department sponsors a student organization. The organizations generally focus on members' professional development and might be interested in hosting your company at a monthly meeting or event. Utilize this grassroots method for making direct student contact.
