CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS FOR B.S. DEGREE PROGRAMS

COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL AND LIFE SCIENCES

ALL DEGREE PROGRAMS IN CALS shall include the following
(the same course may satisfy one of these requirements and a
requirement in Sections II-IX, including those in the major):

Math 112 or equivalent

3 credits additional in mathematics, statistics, or
computer science

5 credits written and oral communications
-
Chem 103 or 108 or 109
-
15 credits total, distributed as follows:

three credits in economics or agricultural
and applied economics

three credits in ethnic studies

six credits in humanities/literature/arts

three credits in social science, not economics
or ag and applied economics

3 credits biological science

3 credits physical science

3 credits international studies (may be satisfied by
a course that also meets another
requirement in Sections I-IX, including those

Capstone experience as approved by major department

- The degree requirements for a
B.S.-INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES
shall include:
- 6 credits natural sciences related to international agriculture or natural resources
- 6 credits social sciences related to international
agriculture or natural resources in addition to courses
required under I.E. above.
- Four semesters of one foreign language
- International experience approved by the International Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee
- 15 credits as specified by the major department
