| Area Events |
Listed in the table below are the qualifying locations for the 2008 Dairy Cattle, Livestock, Agricultural Mechanics, Horse and Floriculture Area Contests. Your State Events Contest Committee has decided schools may attend any sectional contest that is convenient.
A school may judge at only one Area Contest for state qualification, and each Area Contest supervisor will submit the names of the top percentages or numbers of the following teams to the State Contest Manager.- Top 40% of Dairy Cattle
And whichever is greater in: - Top 35% or 7 teams of Livestock;
- Top 35% or 5 teams of Agricultural Mechanics;
- Top 35% or 12 teams of Horse Evaluation; and
- Top 25% or 4 teams of Floriculture.
You must indicate when submitting your Area Contrest entry whether your team is judging to qualify for State or practice purposes only.
Please wait until after Area Contest results to submit State Qualifying Contest Entry Form #2. Due date: April 10 .
