- You will now be able to enter on-line – no more downloading of entry forms. This will provide a much more streamlined entry process and immediate confirmation turnaround. You will also be able to use a credit card to make payment if you want to. Please check our website to access the link that will take you to the on-line entry system. Please contact Contest Committee Chairman Gordie Gasch at 920-419-1106 regarding entry questions.
- The cut-off for qualifying and non-qualifying contest entries is midnight of April 12, 2009.
- The main entry fee for contest participation has been raised to $27.
- The State Meats contest will be held on the UW-River Falls contest on Saturday, March 28, 2009.
- A Wildlife contest will be held this year. There is a limit of 40 teams to compete.
- There will not be a Food Science contest at Madison this year. State competition will be held at UW-River Falls during their area contest event.
- The starting times for all split contests (A-L) will be 8 a.m., followed by schools (M-Z) later.
- Due to Rick Daluge’s retirement, Karen Knipschild will now be serving as the FFA CDE Contest Manager. Please contact her directly at 608-263-7984 or e-mail kknipschild@cals.wisc.edu with any contest questions you may have.
- The Horse contest will be held at UW Hoofers Equestrian Center in Belleville this year. Please check the Horse Contest web page to obtain a map.
- The number of qualifying teams for the Horse contest has changed to the top 30% or 10 teams at an Area Contest.
