The Office of Undergraduate Programs and Services receives notification of scholarships offered by various agencies and organizations that may be of interest to CALS students. Listed on this page are the opportunities we currently have on file in Room 116 Ag Hall. Students interested in learning more about these awards should ask for the binder containing copies of the information we have received.

Scholarships

Dodge County Dairy Youth Recognition Scholarship

The Dodge County Dairy Youth Recognition Scholarship committee will award up to three $1000 scholarships and four $500 scholarships, to Dodge County residents who have exhibited dairy cattle at the Dodge County Fair for 3 of the past 5 years and been enrolled in the Dodge County junior dairy project.

Applications MUST arrive before June 1, 2008. Application forms available in 116 Ag Hall.

Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance (MISA)

Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance will award three $5000 scholarships, to US citizens who are sophomores, juniors or seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Applications MUST arrive before June 1, 2008. Application forms available in 116 Ag Hall.

Jersey Association Scholarship

Applicants must be a junior or life member of the American Jersey Cattle Association with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Applications MUST arrive before July 1, 2008. Application forms available on the US Jersey website at www.usjersey.com/YouthProgram/scholarshipinfo.html.
