In 2003, the officers of the CALS Student Council requested that the College develop a leadership program for students. The students said they wanted more opportunities to learn about and practice leadership. It is important and remarkable that previous undergraduates were the first to recognize the value a leadership program would add to your education! Since that time faculty and staff in the College, working with the Student Council and student organizations, have been developing that program. This certificate is one component.
