Being a student in CALS means having limitless opportunity to study in your area of interest. You can study plants and animals from the genes up. Or study people in areas such as health and nutrition to rural communities, to the global economics of food, and how we communicate about the life sciences. At CALS, you can look at wildlife, habitat and of course agricultural crops and livestock in every part of the world. We look at the natural resources that sustain life: soils, groundwater lakes, streams and forests and we look to better them. If life is involved, so are we.
