VISA / RESIDENT PERMITS
Some of the study abroad countries require a visa or study permit, which is official permission from your host country to enter and stay for a specific period of time. Visa rules and procedures are controlled by the country to be visited and are not within the UW's control.
You are responsible for obtaining a visa, if one is necessary. Please check with IP for specific application information.
If you are planning to travel to other countries before, during, or after your program, contact the Consulate of those countries and ask for detailed visa information.
