Migrant Coalition in WisconsinFor the first time, migrant-service organizations, religious groups, state agencies, and the university are working together to develop a strategic plan that will enable them to meet the needs of Wisconsin's migrant population more effectively. In this project, representatives from these groups will collaborate to identify common goals and develop linkages between community-based organizations serving migrants, migrant communities, and the UW-Madison's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences to develop the resources needed to reach their goals. By combining the myriad of talents and resources, this project will allow organizations, state agencies, and the university to better serve a population that is too often ignored in Wisconsin.
